This content may contain sensitive information, including information revealing religious beliefs, health information, emotional experiences, or other sensitive personal information.
2.3 Purchase and Transaction Information
We may receive transaction identifiers, subscription status, purchase history, refund status, and limited payment information from payment processors. AIRLUMN does not need to receive or store full payment-card information when a third-party payment processor handles it.
2.4 Device, Technical, and Usage Information
We may collect IP address, device and browser information, operating system, approximate location derived from IP, identifiers, log data, pages or screens viewed, interactions, crash data, and security information as reasonably necessary for operation, security, fraud prevention, analytics, and support.

4. Automated Guide and AI Processing
AIRLUMN may use artificial intelligence and automated technologies to provide the Guide and related features. User text may be transmitted to AIRLUMN’s contracted technology providers as necessary to provide the requested Service. AIRLUMN will maintain contracts and configurations appropriate to the services used and will not authorize a provider to use sensitive AIRLUMN user content for unrelated purposes inconsistent with this Policy.
The Guide may automatically analyze text to identify language signaling a possible crisis for the limited purpose of triggering the refer-only crisis response. This is not diagnosis, treatment, counseling, clinical monitoring, or risk assessment.
AIRLUMN will not use Guide content that triggers the crisis-referral response to build advertising profiles or select targeted advertisements.
5. Sensitive Personal Data
Because AIRLUMN experiences may invite reflection on personal, emotional, spiritual, or self-development topics, User Content may reveal sensitive personal information. AIRLUMN seeks to minimize collection and processing of sensitive data and uses it only for purposes reasonably necessary to provide the requested Service, maintain safety and security, comply with law, or perform another purpose permitted by applicable law.
6. Data Minimization

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
AIRLUMN may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, security, functionality, analytics, preferences, and, where applicable, advertising. The specific technologies used and available controls should be identified in the Service’s cookie or tracking notice before launch.
8. Advertising and Sale/Sharing
AIRLUMN does not sell the content of declarations. AIRLUMN does not use declarations for targeted advertising and does not use Guide content that triggers the crisis-referral response to develop advertising profiles or select advertisements.
If AIRLUMN engages in processing that constitutes a sale or targeted advertising under an applicable privacy law, AIRLUMN will provide the required notice and opt-out mechanisms. AIRLUMN will not discriminate against consumers for exercising applicable privacy rights.
9. Service Providers and Processors
AIRLUMN may use service providers for hosting, cloud infrastructure, security, payment processing, communications, analytics, customer support, content moderation, AI/automated processing, and other business functions. Service providers may process personal data only for authorized purposes and consistent with their contractual and legal obligations.
Where a vendor acts as AIRLUMN's processor, AIRLUMN should maintain a written data-processing contract addressing the processing instructions, nature and purpose of processing, categories of data, duration, confidentiality, security, consumer-rights assistance, deletion or return of data, assessments, and subcontractors as required by Maryland law.
Service providers receive only the information reasonably necessary for their authorized services and are subject to contractual and legal obligations applicable to their role.
10. Disclosure for Legal and Safety Reasons
AIRLUMN may preserve or disclose information when required by applicable law or valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, exploitation, security incidents, or other unlawful activity; protect the rights or safety of AIRLUMN, users, or others; or satisfy legally required child-safety reporting or preservation obligations.

Subject to applicable law and statutory exceptions, Maryland residents may have rights to access personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete personal data, obtain information about processing, limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive data, opt out of sale or targeted advertising where applicable, and receive equal treatment for exercising privacy rights. AIRLUMN will honor applicable rights and exceptions.
13. How to Submit a Privacy Request
Submit a request to privacy@airlumn.app or through the privacy-rights mechanism identified in the Service. AIRLUMN may need to verify identity to protect against fraudulent requests. Verification will be proportionate to the sensitivity of the request.
Identify the consumer and the right being exercised.
Provide enough information for AIRLUMN to locate the relevant account or data.
Complete reasonable identity verification if requested.
AIRLUMN will respond within the time required by applicable law and will explain any lawful reason for denying or limiting a request.

AIRLUMN must respond to a consumer privacy-rights request no later than 45 days after receiving the request.
AIRLUMN may extend the response period by an additional 45 days — for a total of 90 days if the extension is reasonably necessary because of the complexity or number of requests.
AIRLUMN must notify the consumer within the initial 45-day period of the extension and explain the reason for it.
If AIRLUMN declines the request, it must explain the justification no later than 45 days after receiving the request and provide instructions for appealing the decision.
14. Appeals
If AIRLUMN denies a privacy-rights request in whole or in part, you may appeal the decision by contacting privacy@airlumn.app and identifying the original request and the reason you believe the decision should be reconsidered. AIRLUMN will review the appeal and respond within 60 days after receipt of the appeal.
15. Retention
AIRLUMN retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. When an eligible declaration is deleted, AIRLUMN targets removal from active user-facing systems within 30 days, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, safety, and preservation exceptions.
Backup copies may be overwritten through ordinary backup cycles, generally within 90 days, unless continued preservation is legally required or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or another lawful purpose.
16. Account Deletion
You may request account deletion through account controls or by contacting privacy@airlumn.app. AIRLUMN will delete or de-identify eligible personal information from active systems within the period stated in this Policy, subject to lawful retention exceptions.
17. Security
AIRLUMN maintains administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of the information. No security measure can guarantee absolute security.
18. Data Security Incidents
If AIRLUMN determines that a security incident constitutes a breach requiring notice under applicable law, AIRLUMN will provide notice to affected consumers, regulators, or other parties as required by law and within the applicable time periods.
19. Data Transfers
Service providers may process information in jurisdictions where AIRLUMN or its providers operate.
20. De-Identified Information
AIRLUMN may use information that has been de-identified in a manner that applicable law recognizes as no longer personal data. AIRLUMN will not attempt to re-identify de-identified information except as permitted by law.
21. Your Choices
You may limit the information you voluntarily provide.
You may manage eligible saved declarations through account controls.
You may request deletion or correction of eligible information.
You may exercise applicable opt-out rights.
